Achieve fast and clean cutting with a Hobart power drive unit when traditional commercial food processors are busy. It's a compact power source for the Hobart 9" vegetable slicer attachment or meat grinder attachment. The VS9 vegetable slicer shows its true flexibility with the PD35 and PD70 power drive units, making an ideal "attachment station" for slicing, shredding and grating. It’s easy to install too. You just slide it on the power drive hub, tighten with the thumbscrew and you have a powerful and flexible food-prep system.

HEAVY-DUTY PERFORMANCE

Bring powerful flexibility to any kitchen. A hardened steel output shaft, stainless steel housing and cover help ensure a long life. Our poly v-belt transmission and heavy-duty 0.5 hp motor comes standard. The stainless steel PD35 and PD70 power drive units generate speeds of 350 RPM and 700 RPM, respectively. The housing and cover are constructed of stainless steel, while the output shaft is made of hardened steel. Hobart power drive units are built to last.
